Chief writer at PlanetRider.com, Fiona is a free spirited travel addict. She wants to explore every corner of the world and experience what every town has to offer. She is a scuba diving instructor, photographer and a travel writer. She has spent many years as a corporate travel consultant and decided to actually live the life rather than plan it for others! Her many years of experience providing elevated customer experiences had her traveling the world from her computer. She is helping clients plan experiences while traveling the world.

Experience

Fiona has over 20 years of experience working in the travel industry. Starting out as a Travel agent with American Express Travel for around 6 years - she quickly developed the skills and passion for the travel industry. She then became a travel consultant, receiving an award for best travel planner within the TravelNGo Times company. She later went on to become a senior travel consultant before deciding to open her own travel blog - Planet Rider. She is currently the Chief Travel Content Editor and CEO of Planet Rider and is using her passion for travel to help others build and forge unforgettable travel experiences.

Education

Fiona went to the school of travel and tourism in Canada. She is also a scuba diving instructor, travel planner and advisor as well as a travel content writer. She speaks three languages: English, French and Spanish!
